The Way Of The West boutique event is a unique West Cork one-day camping gathering returning for its second year on Sunday June 2nd. It happens across four small locations inWest Cork and features music guests, installations, culinary experiences, performances and immersive art.
The music line up includes Meltybrains?, Junior Brother, KNEECAP, Dowry, Anna Mieke and more.
A long table dinner will be created by chef Adam Kavanagh (Il Vicolo) under a candlelit orchard. An archaeological site will host live performances over the weekend while the campsite is located beside West Cork’s Roaringwater Bay.
The festival made its debut last year showcasing international acts as well as local talent. Artists featured last year included Talos, Fófríóur Ákadóttir, Sally Cinnamon, Toby Hatchett, and Jackson Dyer.
Way Of The West is a non-profit festival, ticket prices are solely going to running costs. A break down of how the ticket sales are spent is even provided for the public to see upon request.
