Zebra Katz‘s biggest track ‘Ima Read’ featured a discourteous takedown tone with a malevolent club bass hit. Its simplicity and minimalism was its edge. His newest track ‘Pulla Stunt’ isn’t as simplistic. Its rattling bone beat and screwed synth/vocals provide the absurd malice to match his acerbic tongue. While less immediate than ‘Ima Read’, ‘Pulla Stunt’ sits more easily with the productions of Spaceghostpurrp: hazed and dazed in atmospherics. More via Red Bull.
