Two-time BBC Folk Award-winning bouzouki player continues to step out into his own with a solo session on Caroline Street.

Versatile @ The Marquee (Sold Out)
Whatever you think of the Dublin comedic-leaning rappers, their popularity has peaked beyond the Pale.

Walking On Cars, Lewis Capaldi, Tom Walker @ Irish Independent Park (€52)
Capaldi’s comedy career is going to go well.

Linton Kwesi Johnson @ Live at St. Luke’s (8pm, €28)
Legendary poet and 16-time (!) doctorate comes to St. Luke’s as part of Midsummer’s Crosstown Drift activities. Support from Denise Chaila and more.

DJ Jus’Me holds it down on cuts and live beatmaking, joined by Rostah as they take to the Carey’s Lane venue for a post-Versatile party.

One Day @ Live at the Marquee (5pm, €49.50)
Sonny Fodera and Gorgon City headline a big bill of house at the Monahan Road pop-up, running 5 ’til late.

The Coronas + Sigrid @ Irish Independent Park (5pm, €50)
Pop-rockers joined for a triple-bill at the former Musgrave Park by rising star Sigrid and Dublin duo All Tvvins.

0phelia @ Sirius Arts Centre, Cóbh (7.30pm, €30)
Veteran Irish rapper and spoken-word artist turns out alongside a wealth of performance art and live music for the Cóbh arts facility’s annual fundraising knees-up.

Bellyman & Flipside Selekta @ Connolly’s of Leap (9.30pm, €5)
The Bubble Up boys go back under the hammers to further their mission of flipping dub and reggae in the West Cork area.

For When It Awakens @ Fred Zeppelin’s (10pm, €tbc)
Two-piece metal instrumentalists headline their first gig upstairs in the red room on Parliament Street.

TABOO @ Dali (10pm, €tbc)
Stevie G, Grillz and Chedder are joined by French selector DJ KidJack as part of their monthly Afrocentric residency on Carey’s Lane.
