After the recent release of the excellent ‘Time Difference’, Ailbhe Reddy is back with another song from her forthcoming album Personal History which has a release date of Friday October 2nd this year on Ailbhe’s own label Friends of the Family.
‘Between Your Teeth’ is a song about “the frustration of being unable to communicate in a relationship.” that encapsulates Reddy’s growing artistry as she approaches the landmark debut.
“Both people hold things back because they either don’t want, or don’t know, how to express themselves. While travelling alone I always spent a lot of time thinking too much about past conversations and wondering what words were being held back between another person’s teeth.”
It was produced by Erland Cooper and Tommy McLaughlin (producer and touring member of SOAK).
Ailbhe Reddy plays a headline show live at The Workman’s Club on Friday, 2nd October 2020 . Tickets on sale at midday today through the below ticket links
