alt-j – ‘Left Hand Free’

Anyone who thought ‘Hunger Of The Pine’ was an indication that alt-j were turning into a more-experimentally Miley-Cyrus-sampling direction, may want to have a listen to the second track from This Is All Yours, the band’s second album out in September.

‘Left Hand Free’ has a bluesy-rock riff of sorts that made me at first think of Zun Zun Egui or the kind of direct song that would obviously soundtrack an advert due to its breezy catchiness.

This Is All Yours on iTunes.

Alt-J play the O2, Dublin on September 27.
