Bandcamp artists generated $7.1 million during last Friday's sale

Bandcamp once again waved their revenue shares of all music and merch sales generated through the website last Friday for a full day.

It’s the second time during the COVID-19 epidemic that the music streaming service has opted to wave it’s share of revenue for artists. On March 20th, on site purchases generated $4.3 million for artists.

Last Friday the Bandcamp community did one better, this time generating a whopping $7.1 million for artists through sales on the site.

The power of direct community support on full display.
