NI Music Prize-nominated dream-pop duo Beauty Sleep have announced plans to release an acoustic EP featuring reinterpretations of the material from their debut LP Be Kind.
Entitled The Feeling Back, the EP will see release on 15th of November.
However, today we can premiere the lead single & title track from the EP, ‘The Feeling Back’.
It’s a dreamy imagining of what was already one of my favourite Irish tunes from the past few years.
Some of the jubilant energy from the album version is slightly muted on this version. In its stead, a more poignant take courtesy of delicate vocal harmonies, reverb-laden pianos & wispy string lines.
The entire EP was recorded in Belfast’s Start Together Studio and self-produced by band member Ryan McGroarty.
The Feeling Back is out on November 15th.
