Etienne de Crécy returns to Dublin for his first show in over a decade, playing a late show at The Workman’s Club on Friday September 4th 2027, 11:30pm. The co-architect of French house’s golden era – Super Discount, Super Discount 2, the Motorbass project with Philippe Zdar – is a rare appearance in these parts. Tickets on sale tomorrow Friday May 22nd at 10am via selectivememory.ie. Presale live now via mailing list.

Goodtime John plays Bello Bar, Dublin on Saturday July 11th, presented by Foggy Notions. The Dublin singer and producer John Doris makes lush, hazy soul-pop records that have been building a following well beyond Ireland – his work sits somewhere between vintage Stones Throw and a Dublin bedroom, in the best way. Tickets via foggynotions.ie.
Goodtime John’s ‘Chew Up The Love’ video is a dedication to Glenn Keating and friendship
Louth Contemporary Music Society marks its 20th anniversary with the ‘Coming Together’ festival in Dundalk on Friday June 19th and Saturday June 20th. What’s been quietly built here over two decades is genuinely impressive – a festival that’s attracted major names in contemporary music to Dundalk, taking over churches, chapels and Dundalk Gaol across two days. This year’s programme includes a rare performance of Harry Partch’s work on the custom-built, microtonal instruments he designed himself – not something you see live in Ireland very often – alongside Grammy-nominated bass-baritone Davóne Tines, and a world premiere LCMS commission by Austrian composer Beat Furrer. Tickets and full programme at louthcms.org.
Féile Solas heads into its third year on Whiddy Island in Bantry Bay, Co. Cork – a no-corporate, community-driven micro-festival where artists get their travel covered, fed, and receive professionally mixed live recordings of their sets afterwards. This year’s lineup features Avenue 68, Dream Boy, Calum Agnew, Peer Pleasure, Ria Rua, Caoimhín and more. Full lineup and dates at feilesolas.ie.
Mary in the Junkyard play two Irish shows in September: Grand Social, Dublin on Tuesday September 22nd and Ulster Sports Club, Belfast on Wednesday September 23rd. The UK band released Circle the Drain last year to widespread acclaim – raw, emotionally direct indie rock that sold out rooms across the UK and North America. Tickets €21.20/£18.70 including booking fees, on sale Friday May 22nd at 10am via singularartists.ie.
Féile Nasc Midsummer Show reunites Mundy and Camille O’Sullivan at Beechwood House, Ranelagh on Saturday June 20th. The two performed together at Shane MacGowan’s funeral in December 2023, and this is the first time they’ve shared a stage since. One of those nights. Tickets and details to be confirmed – watch nascevents.ie.
The olllam plays a full Irish run this October behind their recent album. Irish singer-songwriter Caoilfhinn Ní Dhochartaigh’s project has been building steadily through touring and word of mouth, and a four-date Irish run suggests it’s crossing over. Dates: 3Olympia Theatre Dublin (October 5th), Cyprus Avenue Cork (October 6th), Dolan’s Warehouse Limerick (October 7th), Mandela Hall Belfast (October 8th). Tickets on sale now via mcd.ie.
Arab Strap announce their ninth album, Half-Told Tales, out September 4th via Rock Action Records – almost three decades to the day since their first single. Lead single ‘You You You’ is the most outright melodically infectious thing they’ve made: Aidan Moffat calling it a “disco-metal incantation” aimed at reminding people the world isn’t full of awful people, while Malcolm Middleton’s spiralling guitar lines do their level best to contradict that. The band head to Whelan’s, Dublin on Monday October 12th – their only Irish date on a tour that includes Barrowland, Glasgow and dates across Eastern Europe and Turkey through to December. Tickets via arabstrap.scot.
Landless play The Sugar Club on Friday November 6th – their first Dublin headline show in two years, presented by Enthusiastic Eunuch. The traditional four-voice vocal quartet have been one of the most in-demand acts on the international folk circuit since Bleaching Bones, and a Dublin headline is always an event. Tickets on sale now via foggynotions.ie.
Ole 60 make their Irish debut at Limelight 1, Belfast on Sunday November 15th. Made in Hancock County, Kentucky, Ole 60 are not your standard country band – their sound pulls on old-time, roots and Americana traditions in ways that have drawn serious attention in the US. Dublin date to be confirmed. Tickets via Ticketmaster.
This Is Lorelei plays Workman’s Club, Dublin on Saturday November 21st. Nate Amos – who also fronts Water From Your Eyes – has been on a remarkable run: breakthrough solo records, sold-out shows across multiple continents, and some of today’s most influential artists covering his songs. His 2024 album Box for Buddy, Box for Star is a genuine piece of work, tackling sobriety through a roving, tongue-in-cheek songwriting lens. Tickets via foggynotions.ie.
Blondshell plays The Academy, Dublin on Thursday December 17th as part of the Scaring Strangers Tour, with special guest Theatre – the Limerick five-piece who made the Great Escape bill this year. Sabrina Teitelbaum’s debut album has spent the last two years converting everyone who hears it; this’ll be a good one. Tickets on sale Friday May 22nd at 10am via Ticketmaster.
