Bohemian FC to host four nights of gigs at Dalymount Park before its redevelopment.
The Last Days of Dalymount runs Thursday September 10th to Sunday September 13th, with Annie Mac, Fontaines D.C.’s Carlos O’Connell, Conor Curley and Tom Coll, Bricknasty, Johnny Logan and more marking the ground’s final chapter.
Bohemian FC, POD and Aiken Promotions have announced The Last Days of Dalymount, four nights of gigs at Dalymount Park ahead of the stadium’s redevelopment, running Thursday September 10th to Sunday September 13th.
Thursday opens the series with an F.D.C. DJ set from Fontaines D.C.’s Carlos O’Connell, Conor Curley and Tom Coll, alongside live sets from THEATRE and Black Nylon.
Friday brings Annie Mac to Dalymount, with support from Mango and Sally Cinnamon.

Saturday is the broadest night of the four, with a Special Guest to be announced alongside John Francis Flynn, Bricknasty, Gemma Dunleavy, Brian Brannigan of A Lazarus Soul, Paul Page of Whipping Boy and Róisín El Cherif.
The series closes on Sunday with A Bohemian Fan Farewell, featuring Johnny Logan and the Eugene McCarthy Big Band.

They’ve come for football, local matches, European ties, internationals and cup finals. They’ve come for music, from Marley and Lynott to punk gigs and Palestinian solidarity events. They’ve come to see famous stuntmen of the past, and to witness boxing, mock battles and even plays. But ultimately, they’ve come for human connection. With just a handful of sold-out games left, this gives the people of Dublin a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the famous old stadium one last time under the floodlights.”
Dalymount has been home to Bohemian FC since 1901, and carries a significant place in Irish music history alongside its football legacy. Thin Lizzy played there in 1977, and Bob Marley & The Wailers played their only Irish show at the ground in July 1980, a concert that turned out to be Marley’s final outdoor performance. Status Quo also played Dalymount, and the Sunstroke festivals of the 1990s brought Sonic Youth, Faith No More, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ice Cube, Therapy? and The Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy to Phibsborough. More recently the ground has hosted Kneecap, Greta Thunberg, Bobby Gillespie and David Holmes.
