Darling – ‘Sail Away’ (video premiere)
Dublin duo Darling, arrived on the scene with ‘Echoes’, an impressive debut single that uncorrigibly aimed for big things and worked with producer Stephen Lipson (Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Grace Jones, Ultravox, Pet Shop Boys) to make that happen.
Their debut EP Sail Away gave us the stadium-sized slow burner title track and today, I have the premiere of the video by Scott Altman: a black and white moody slow-motion clip about kids who put on a soap box derby to escape the mundanities of normal life.
Darling live dates
Wednesday 21st May: Galway – Monroe’s w/ Leaders Of Men (€5/€7)
Friday 23rd May: Dublin – Whelan’s (€11)
Saturday 24th May: Cork – Cyprus Avenue w/ Leaders Of Men (free)
