  1. Bit disappointed to be honest Niall but just heard on the wireless that onkly 40% of acts confimed. Hopefully the likes of MIA and Doom will be added. Get armed with the plastic tomorrow morning with all this publicity it will sell out quick, By the way im listening to the live square pusher show you linked to….fantastic, i have never got to seem them live. Are you going to Autechre next month?

  3. Saw MIA last year and she was very average live. Mogwai would be great. I’m sure there’ll be plenty announced to keep us busy by the time it comes around. Doom would be awesome though… *crosses fingers*

Looks i,m the only who thinks this looks like a good line up,with bands like Belle&Sebastian and S.F.A and not to mention .D.J Shadow its shaping up to be a superp final outdoor gig of the summer and remember guys and girls there are still acts to be added so forget oxegen this is sure to better

  7. It’s not bad but needs more electronic acts and a few more interesting alternative acts too – a few suggestions would be jackson and his computer band, dfa 1979, deerhoof, tapes n’ tapes

  11. If you can’t afford the tickets and can’t make it to Stradbally for the Electric Picnic you can hear the entire festival on the dedicated 2fm Electric Webnic channel http://www.rte.ie/2fm. Beginning on Friday 1st September right up until the end of the festival on Sunday 3rd September 2fm radio has live and unedited pure music from the Electric Picnic via the webnic. All stages and not just the mainstream names.
