The Dublin producer Rory Sweeney is gearing up to release his 7-track album I like you this Saturday May 29th.
Sweeney is a music producer and filmmaker whose electronic music productions can move between ambient, footwork, reggaeton and rave (he is 1/3 of the Irish/US Experimental rave collective Bitten Twice).
Sweeney is a frequent collaborator with artists like Julia Louise Knifefist (who I featured recently), Acid Granny, Fomorian Vein, E M A, sohotsospicy, Baliboc, Roo Honeychild, Toké O’Drift, and Armed Response Unit.
The album continues his collaboration buzz like Emby, Ahmed With Love and Sarah Joan featuring. Track three features the vocal talent of Pippa Molony, who would find a comparison in the darker spoken word side of Rachael Lavelle.

‘Only Love’ is an atmospheric darkwave synth track and serves as a juicy preview from the album to come this week.
Sweeney was picked by District as 1 of 10 rising Irish producers you need to know, and you can hear his collaboration with Julia Knifefist on the recent City Imps compilation here.
