Gig news roundup: Krystal Klear, Touch Sensitive, Ben UFO, Horse Meat Disco and more


Krystal Klear is celebrating his 30th birthday in District 8 on December 15th with very special guests on the night Skream and Jackmaster. Tickets are €20-25 and available from Eventbrite.

Touch Sensitive is playing his very first gig in Ireland on Friday November 24th. Support on the night is Irish duo KILNAMANA. Tickets are priced at €15.20 and available from Ticketmaster.

The Headphone Clinic – A casual Sunday afternoon experimental audio and collaborative soundscaping experience comes to A4 Sounds on Upper Dorset Street on November 12th. The event includes live performances from Gavin Prior, Andy Wilson and Marc Aubele as well as Workshops and Hands-on Demonstrations. Relaxing on a beanbag with a cup of tea is also an option for this one. Tickets are priced at €10+ and available from eventbrite.

Pear Presents bring you Ben UFO and Wino Wagon in Tengu on December 2nd. Tickets are available on the door at €12.

Northside Dublin arts group GlasDrum are hosting the second New Sounds In An Old Place on Friday November 17th showcasing the sounds of Malojian and Dublin native Sorcha Richardson.

American house DJ and producer Paul Johnson known for his 1999 hit single ‘Get Get Down’ plays Pygmalion on December 27th. Support on the night is yet to be announced. Early bird tickets are €10 and available from resident advisor.

A fundraiser for The Jocelyn Blake Cancer Fund is taking place at Dublin Food Co-op, Newmarket on Saturday November 18th. Performances on the day include Farah Elle, Interskalactic and Lisa O’Neill followed by Sorca McGrath from Ships and the Lumo DJs who will be playing their special brand of disco tunes and curveball classics.

The Co-Present from Dublin Digital Radio are releasing a Christmas album of Christmas Songs by some of Ireland’s finest Musicians in aid of Pieta House. The album launch night takes place on Saturday December 9th at Drop Dead Twice, Francis Street. Performances on the night come from Session Motts, Junior Brother and more to be announced.

German electronic music collective Zehr Gut in association w Dlight Studios Dublin & Homebeat present A//B This two part night takes place on December 15th. Part A is in Dlight Studios with Giegling’s Leafar Legov and r.kitt.
Part B is happening in Wigwam with Waterford native Neil Flynn.
