Episode 81 of the Nialler9 Podcast and Andrea and Niall talk to Limerick and Clare rapper God Knows of Rusangano Family, who is on fire at the moment and bringing Limerick and the rest of Ireland with him. Seriously, check this video.
Elsewhere, we are talking about the new album from Soccer Mommy – Color Theory.
The album confronts the ongoing mental health, anxiety, depression that the 22-year-old artist has experienced for a number of years. Along with dealing with her mother who has a terminal, long-term illness. It’s an album of contrasts between the dark subject matter of the lyrics and the relative brightness of the music. A lot of songs are pleasant songs which mask the seriousness of the subject matter.
