The Great Escape Festival announce first bands including Oh Wonder, Shura, Mura Masa
Brighton’s The Great Escape Festival is still 6 months away but they’ve squeezed out an announcement of new artists to play the three-day festival in the seaside town from 19th – 21st May 2016.
The first bands are:
Oh Wonder, Shura and Mura Masa to play the first Spotlight Show at All Saints Church
As well as:
Banfi, Axel Flovent, Mystery Jets, Beach Baby, Saint Sister, Otherkin, Isaac Gracie, salute, Declan McKenna, Pumarosa, Trudy, Rukhsana Merrise, Dagny, Dilly Dally, Kloe, Alina Orlova, Elle Exxe, Conner Youngblood, Owen Rabbit, Will Joseph Cook, Book Seeka, Fort Lean, Holy Esque, Jack Watts, Strange Bones, Tiger CLub, Dirty Frigs, Dosal Fins,Fenne Lilly, LCMDF, Methyl Ethel, Natur3, NorthEast Party House, Slum Sociable, Timberwolf, Vant.
Interestingly, TGE’s age limit will be reduced to 16+ in some venues.
Tickets are, for 3-day passes at Early Bird prices £49.50+fees. Delegate passes with access to the convention and priority access to live show are £150+fees. Info on travel and accommodation.
