Ireland Music Week announce online conference details
Ireland Music Week has moved entirely online this October 6th to 9th, and has previously revealed the 50 bands, as below, who will play special online sets broadcast from Lost Lane Dublin.
For the conference strand of the new music showcase festival, they’ve announced some more details:
Panel and Workshop topics include:
Introductions to publishing, management, labels, international touring and showcasing, A&R. Live pitch sync session, gender balance discussion, diversity discussion, live sector discussion in relation to Covid19 and much more.
The online conference will continue to include dedicated B2B elements to facilitate the needs of AIM Ireland, along with panels, workshops and one-to-one meetings for the artists with international professionals.
The conference hosts are May Kay (artist and presenter), James Byrne (artist, manager, label) and Arveene (DJ, producer, presenter). Additional guest hosts will also be involved in panels and workshops across the four-day virtual event.
Catapult have been announced to produce the online conference via the hosting platform Hopin, and the festival is delighted to have a world leader in virtual and streamed events, an Irish company, involved.

The artist showcases, filmed at Lost Lane, will take place online at www.irelandmusicweek.com on Tuesday 6th, Wednesday 7th and Thursday 8th from 8pm.
The 50 artists will receive a professionally-produced live video by Tiny Ark plus €500 expenses.
The festival is partnering with Andrson, CD Baby and IMRO for the conference and event.
