Irish artists: Would you like to win €5,000 and a major support slot at an iconic Irish venue?
Update: This event has been cancelled for now due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
Applications are now open from solo musicians and bands to audition for a big opportunity to secure a support slot for a major international band at an iconic Irish venue in May 2020. A €5,000 bursary will also be awarded to the winning artist(s).
A professional music industry adjudication panel will listen to each entry and whittle down what we hope will be hundreds of entries to select six artists to play a live audition final, which will take place in Dublin on Friday March 20th.
During the audition, the headline artist and iconic venue will be disclosed under a confidentiality agreement to the auditionees. The big night itself in May will be a private event, with the audience comprising 700 invited guests from the world of music, arts, and business. The winner’s 20 minute set will be professionally video/audio recorded for your own use, along with a complimentary release package from Yangaroo Music Ireland.
Update: This event has been cancelled for now due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
Submission criteria:
- Please make sure all band members are over 18
- Email should contain: Live video link + audio link to two songs + artist contact name, and tel number.
- Deadline for competition entries: 6pm, Saturday 14th March 2020
