Kobina drops 13-track collection of electronic and experimental music – Lifts Me
Sean Arthur aka Kobina is a Dublin electronic producer based in Amsterdam who we most recently featured here with his Four Poems EP and remix work for Junior Brother.
This week, he dropped 13 songs of varying strains of electronic music under the name Lifts Me which he made in 2019 and 2020.
It’s a clearing of the decks before an album may arrive in the future and it’s a fine collection of music showcasing Arthur’s production and melodic abilities.
Highlights include the AFX-esque tracks ‘Live in D5’ and ‘Blissfully Aware’, the bass-driven percussive ‘A Note On The Fridge’, the garagey ‘RB Shoe’ and the arpeggiated ‘Boil Notice’.
