‘Zapusk’ from the London producer songwriter Harrison Cargill was an attention-grabbing percussive electronic tones that in no bad way reminded me of Caribou.
‘Orbita’ is the followup, and another track from Kodiak Blue’s debut EP Sputnik, a song which evokes the airlock of space travel (you’ve never been?) with bleeping samples culled from a satellite. The song reaches has claustrophobic optimism to it, an impressive feat.
