Kormac, Le Galaxie, Lolz & more will celebrate Scoop Foundation's 10th birthday in Lost Lane this month

Scoop Foundation, founded by brothers Andy & Calvin, is a charitable organisation well known around the capital.

The Foundation hosts events across the city & nation, then use the funds from those events to provide relief to projects often based in the middle east. For instance, Scoop is the umbrella organisation under which Syrias Vibes falls, a project which takes a hands-on approach to providing aid to civilians in Syria.

If you follow either on social media (you should), you’ll see first hand the noble work the organisation does over there.

Scoop Foundation is about to turn ten. To mark the occasion the organisers are throwing a birthday bash in Lost Lane on October 26th.

Acts like Kormac, Le Galaxie & Lolz (of Gash Collective) will be DJing throughout the night.

The event kicks off with a drinks reception in the Dingle Distillery, then onto the music.

To further mark the occasion, the Scoop Foundation are releasing a limited edition vinyl, featuring a selection of the artists the charity has worked with throughout its tenure.

Early bird tickets are on sale now here for €11+.

If you purchase the vinyl on the night for €20 you will also receive free entry – a steal.

Funds from the gig will go toward Scoop’s Art Therapy Programme at the Bajed Kandala camp in Iraq, to a blossoming IT project and to providing instruments for those in Direct Provision.
