Little Green Cars – ‘Easier Day’

Avatar

One of the supreme attractions to the music of Little Green Cars is the powerhouse voice of Faye O’Rourke.

On the band’s debut album on songs ‘My Love Took Me Down to the River to Silence Me’, ‘The Kitchen Floor’ and ‘Please’ O’Rourke brought a strong feminine vocal and a dramatic urgency to those songs that lifted the subject matter.

On the band’s new track ‘Easier Day’, the followup to ‘The Song They Play Every Night’, she’s repeating that skill with a vocal performance that dominates the song. O’Rourke kicks the song off a capella and is ably supported by the harmonies of the boys in the band.

The track is taken from the upcoming album Ephemera due March 11th on Glassnote.
