Minimal Wave’s Veronica Vasicka coming to Forza Italo
Minimal Wave Records honcho Veronica Vasicka has been releasing obscure and electronic analogue music taking in cold wave to Italo to synthesizer music of the forgotten past since 2005 and has been playing that music on her NYC East Village Radio show (a station of which she co-founded) so she’s a perfect fit for Forza Italo’s monthly shenanigans in the Odessa next month on Friday February 7th.
She will be joined by our own sonic unearther Darren McCreesh, who curated the irish post-punk compilation Strange Passion for Finders Keepers and resident Simon Conway.
Check out Benji B’s label spotlight on Minimal Wave and the two compilations that came out on Stones Throw last year.
