Nialler9’s Music Videos of 2015
5. FKA Twigs – ‘Glass & Patron’
Video by: FKA twigs
FKA Twigs continued to make forays into groundbreaking visual art with the release of the M3LL155X EP, that came with a full-length video. The best section was released earlier this year and featured some strong birthing imagery and some kickass vogueing in a fantastically lit forest.
4. Run The Jewels feat. Zack de la Rocha – ‘Close Your Eyes (And Count To F**k)’
Video by: A.G. ROJAS
In a year that America was consumed by gun crime and racial violence, A.G. ROJAS tackled the subject viscerally via the brutal physical tussle between a law enforcer and a black youth.
“This video represents the futile and exhausting existence of a purgatory-like law enforcement system. There is no neat solution at the end because there is no neat solution in the real world. However, there is an opportunity to dialogue and change the way communities are policed in this country,” said Killer Mike of the video.
