Nile Rodgers & Chic headed to Dublin’s St. Anne’s Park this summer

Taking place on the bank holiday Sunday, June 2nd.

Nile Rodgers really loves Ireland.

It seems like he’s playing here with his iconic disco group Chic on a very (very) regular basis.

This new announcement sees the group play in Dublin’s St. Anne’s part on June the 2nd, which is the bank holiday Sunday.

The group will be bringing, oddly enough, Kaiser Chiefs to perform support duties. Your guess is as good as ours.

Chic always packs a crowd, the group have honed one of the most energetic and dynamic live sets on offer. Plus, having a few beauts like ‘Everybody Dance’ and ‘I Want Your Love’ in your back pocket helps a lot.

The band will also be performing in Belfast’s Waterfront Hall on June 4th. Tickets for that gig go on sale this Friday from the Ticketmaster site.

Tickets for the Dublin gig, at €49+, go on sale this Friday from the Ticketmaster site.
