Despite a thriving festival scene here in Ireland, Sligo has remained relatively untouched.
Until now, that is.
Spilt Milk is the brand new alternative music festival taking place in Sligo this year from 22nd-24th November.
The three-day festival will be taking place around Sligo Town, hosting both international and domestic music and literary talent.
Funded in part by Sligo County Council and the Creative Ireland scheme, Spilt Milk offers up a selection of alternative music from across the spectrum. As a result of this funding, some free tickets are available to those under the age of 23.
Ensemble Econmoique, Landless, Percolator, Rachael Lavelle and Aoife Nessa Frances have all been added to the bill so far, with many more to come.
It’s not just music that will be happening across Sligo Town throughout the weekend, multi-disciplinary artists like Katie Gerardine O’Neill, Dult and Marge Bouvier will also be adding to the festivities.
All tickets for the events, happening between November 22nd & 24th, will be sold separately through the festival’s website.
