Video Premiere: Zapho espouses growth and renewal in 'Water Me'

The artist launches the single in The Grand Social this March 29th.

Dublin based artist Zapho came to our attention last year with her electro-pop infused offering ‘Do Like I Do’ and we’ve been fans ever since.

Her first single of 2019 comes in the form of ‘Water Me’, out today, and we’re premiering the music video for it here first.

ZAPHO - WATER ME

‘Water Me’ shows a different side to Zapho than what we saw in her first single. It feels more mellow, softer – but it packs a punch. The track is a concoction of perfect pop ingredients with lush synths, arpeggiators and a contagious chorus hook that you’ll be singing all day.

Lyrically, the song encompasses the cycle of growth and renewal, healing and remedy, with Ele explaining that: “‘Water Me’ is a song about the bizarre, tumultuous, cycle of life, growth, and renewal.”

The music video is made up of footage from Zapho’s headline show in The Grand Social last year November, and she’s gearing up for another one taking place this March 29th. Tickets are priced at €12+ here.
