Prince & Bowie tributes featuring Alexis Taylor & Trinity Orchestra planned for Metropolis
Metropolis Festival will pay tribute to two of the greatest who were lost this year at the festival in the RDS from November 3rd – 5th.
Alexis Taylor (Hot Chip) will perform a Prince tribute DJ Set while the Trinity Orchestra will perform the works of David Bowie.
Taylor performs on the Friday night November 4th in the Concert hall while Trinity Orchestra play a set of Bowie classics on Saturday.
“Hot Chip have always been inspired by Prince. It’s mainly the actual groove – the way melodic and rhythmic patterns interlock together – that we take from him.’” Alexis told The Guardian.
This news adds to the recent additions of a giant mirrorball and a strand of talks and conversations.
