The awards were held and announced in Ulster Hall last night.
The NI Music Prize featured performances from Eric Bell (Thin Lizzy), Cara Dillon, JC Stewart, Huartan, Tramp and more.
Hosted by Phil Taggart and Gemma Bradley, the big award of the night – album of the year was awarded to Belfast feminist punk band Problem Patterns for their debut album Blouse Club, winning out over albums from Brand New Friend, Kneecap, Cherym, David Holmes and Reevah among others.
I was one of the judges for the album prize.
Jordan Adetunji was the first winner of the night – winning Best Music Video for his smash worldwide hit ‘Kehlani’.

Eric Bell was presented the Oh Yeah Legend award by PRS for Music and Ralph McLean, and was joined by Tim Wheeler of Ash for a rendition of ‘Whiskey In The Jar’.
IMRO presented an award to the family of the late broadcaster and radio presenter Gerry Anderson.
Support for the awards came dfrom from Belfast City Council, Arts Council of Northern Ireland, Shine Promotions, YouTube Music, IMRO, Dead Rabbit, PPL, PRS for Music, Runway Artists, Noreast Beers and BBC Radio Ulster was energetically received.
