Soak not feeling the love on new single ‘Valentine Shmalentine’

It’s the third single from the Derry artist’s forthcoming Grim Town LP.

Soak continues to tease her new album Grim Town with her latest single ‘Valentine Shmalentine’.

Currently touring the US, Bridie Watson joins the popular anti-valentine movement with a heartbreak lullaby.

SOAK - Valentine Shmalentine

The track hears Soak return to a more downbeat sound than it’s predecessor ‘Knock Me Off My Feet‘. The track is apparently “the result of giving into Hallmark and being a dramatic bitch x” (taken from her Twitter page)


It’s a very beautiful song all the same.

Grim Town sees release on April 26th on Rough Trade Records.
