Peter Ward and Ronan Downing , who call themselves the electronic duo Terriers have been holed up in the studio working on new material, which they have seen fit to release two tracks this week for us to hear, their first track since ‘Sometimes When You Gone Too Far, You Just Can’t Come Back’ back in May.
‘For You’ is typical of Terrier’s style of synth-driven minimal electronica, elusive, bright and a free download from Bad Panda, while ’13/13′ from their upcoming Baku EP and downloadable at XLR8R strips things down further to where a kickdrum is the track’s primary rhythm until it is joined by an exotic synthesizer and some effective squelch. Nice tracks all round.
