5. Wax Stag – ‘Sparkling River’
Album number two from the English producer is a winner.
II is the highly enjoyable electronic album from St. Albans’ Rob Lee aka Wax Stag, a bright melodic collection of instrumental tracks that falls somewhere between Kraftwerk and house music. Lee limited the album’s palette to a particular sound and feel and it’s something that makes the album a cohesive whole. ‘Sparkling River’ is an easy highlight.
