LA singer-songwriter recalls a 70s piano troubadour.
Tobias Jesso Jr is a new artist signed to True Panther, who has a debut album called Goon out in March which had production from Chet “JR” White (formerly of Girls), Black Keys’ Patrick Carney, and Ariel Rechtshaid (producer du jour). His songs are classic piano ballads and ‘Hollywood’ is a perfect place to start: a slow-burning simple song about the fame lifestyle. Tobias Jesso Jr plays Dublin’s Unitarian Church on May 10th.
