Dublin duo Lakker have quietly and insidiously been making a great name for themselves by making great tunes and releasing them on international electronic labels. For their new one, forthcoming on R&S, the first track is a rush of sonics, an eight minute industrial complex housing a beat fettered by a booming structure, swirling vocal sounds, bin-rattling bass and an enveloping haze of intensity. Like droning kraut or Suicide reimagined.
