5. Ekkah – ‘Last Chance To Dance’
An R&B pop duo on the way to bigger things.
London via Birmingham duo Ekkah, made an impression online with their debut single ‘Figure It Out’, a slinky R&B pop track. The duo’s name comes from the fact that the old friends both have similar names: Rebekah Pennington and Rebecca Wilson.
The duo’s new single ‘Last Chance To Dance’ is even more slinkier and smooth, wearing a funky Dev Hynes-style/Solange R&B pop swing.
The track appears on the EP of the same name out in late November on Year One Recordings. They are currently on tour supporting Jess Glynn.
