A dark and bewitching video and song with half-step dub beats and a growling synth line. Vocals are courtesy of Romy Madley Croft of The xx. It was directed by Warren Fischer of Fischerspooner with cinematography by Pete Konczal.

Creep are a New York-based duo made up of Lauren Dillard and Lauren Flax. You may have heard of Flax from her DJing days and remixes of MEN ,Telepathe and Heartsrevolution. Lauren Dillard meanwhile is a Managing Director responsible for The Carlyle Group’s global equity programs as well as oversight of the team responsible for global tax matters…. OK, OK wrong Lauren Dillard but, but just imagine? Super corporate MD by day, witch-house electro producer by night!

Incidentally, I had a dream last night and in it, I randomly met the band Creep. They were all mopey teenage indie boys though and not nearly as scary as the above.

‘Days’ is released this week via Young Turks along with remixes by Deadboy and Azari & Ill which you can also hear after the click below.
