Another high-quality quasi-mystical neon-clad headfuck of a video from Yeasayer for one of the best tracks on their Odd Blood album. Directed by Radical Friend. The band are playing silly-looking fake instruments too.

That is a shit video for a great song, I hate missed oppurtunities
Every time I hear this song I’m gonna think about this awful video
Have to weigh in with the others here. All that’s missing from that video is Pan’s people and Noel Edmonds. That is woeful!
Also have to say – I was really underwhelmed by Yeasayer live at the Academy. Every time I hear them now I get a flashback of the bass player in his skintight stark white vest rhythmically humping his bass and pouting. Also the singer convulsing around the stage like Jay-Z meets Jagger quasi-rapping “Make love ’till the break of dawn”. Still gives me a pang of embarrassment every time I think of it.
Plus the gig was totally flat – no dynamic or balls to it. Was really disappointed as I really like them on record. Although, now I find kind of hard to listen to them seriously after that contrived spectacle.
