Villagers release sunny new single ‘Summer’s Song’ ahead of Iveagh Gardens show
Villagers is back with a new single ahead of this Friday’s Iveagh Gardens headline show.
‘Summer’s Song’ is Conor O’Brien’s first release since last year’s excellent The Art of Pretending to Swim and is the sound of an artist kicking back and embracing mellow. Bells, a feel-good brass section and O’Brien’s buttery smooth vocals come together to make a hazy track that sits firmly amongst the most upbeat songs of Villagers’ back catalogue. It’s a feel-good jaunt perfect for the summer.
