Win tickets to EXIT festival
With no Oxegen this year, you may be one of the many looking for an alternative. EXIT Festival takes place in the Petrovaradin Fortress overlooking the river Danube in Novi Sad, Serbia every July (12th to 15th this year).
The lineup is diverse, both mainstream and alternative and this year’s lineup so far looks like this:
Guns ‘N’ Roses, Duran Duran, New Order, Plan B, Avicci, Richie Hawtin, Gossip, Wolfmother, Luciano, Laurent Garnier LBS, Miss Kittin, Little Dragon, Felix Da Housecat, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Azari & III live, Buraka Som Sistema, Sneaky Soundsystem, Art Department, Maceo Plex, Reboot live, Brodinksi, Kenny Larkin, Robert Dietz, When Saints Go Machine, Maayan Nidam, Lone, Pariah, Teengirl Fantasy live, The Chain… R&S Records showcase with more TBA.
If spending four days and night at non-corporate music festival (it began in 2000 as a student protest against the Milosevic regime) in the Balkan sunshine with cheap food and drink with 25 music stages and a unique setting sounds like your kind of thing, then good, you’ve come to the right place.
I’m offering a pair of tickets to the festival (normally £95 with £25 extra for camping or you can rent an apartment). Accommodation and travel is not included but flights are working out at about €250 with another €20 to Novi Sad and there’s a website dedicated to EXIT travel to help you. Food and drink is supposed to be cheap there too.
