  West Cork funk-pop machine return to Clonakilty’s famous music outpost.

  Irish folk trailblazers continue their comeback with a special gig as part of St. Luke’s trad weekender.

  Allchival/Quare Groove man John Byrne digs deep into his labyrinthine archive of Irish records, from the seventies through to today, for night one of a two-night sojourn behind the decks on Barrack Street.
• Pontious Pilate and the Naildrivers @ Crane Lane Theatre (9pm, free)
  Long-running Leeside ska flag-bearers finally launch their debut E.P. of original material after nearly two decades of heavy gigging.
• Svet Kant, Grey Stag, Sixth Extinction and more @ Fred Zeppelin’s (9pm, €5)

  Legendary RnB guitarist and hitmaker Billy Harrison and collaborators celebrate the legacy of Belfast blues trailblazers Them.
• Lankum + Jimmy Crowley @ Live at St. Luke’s (7.30pm, €25)
  A very special night for Irish traditional music as modern genre exponents Lankum finally meet a longtime influence in Corkonian song collector Jimmy Crowley, whose rendition of wartime ditty ‘Salonika’ informed the standout arrangement on Lankum’s debut album.
