Oh joy. A brand new track from Alt-J from the soundtrack to David O’ Russell’s film Silver Linings Playbook, which stars Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence. ‘Buffalo’ is a typically expansive cut from the Oxford band featuring Mountain Man, the Appalachian-leaning vocal trio on backing vocals.
‘Buffalo’ doesn’t feature on the excessive remix-heavy 45-track deluxe version of the album which won the Mercury a few weeks back.
