“Just a few things been running through my head”

Songs from our music blogging peers you have to hear.

  • Bon Iver – Hazleton [Jonk Music]
Who knew Justin Vernon was awesome pre-heartbreak too?
  • Hot Chip – Touch Too Much (Fake Blood Remix) [Circle. Square. Triangle]
    A nice remix. Nuff said.
  • TV On The Radio – Crying (Telepathe remix) [Pasta Primavera]
A Brooklyn band remix another Brooklyn band. A nice result
  • Black Ghosts – Repetition Kills You feat, Damon Albarn (RAC remix) [State]
    It’s all about the bass.
  • Cool Kids – Delivery Man (9th Wonder remix) [Pretty Much Amazing]
Bring the Cool Kids forward two decades and they still sound ffresh.
  • Chad Van Gaalen – Willow Tree [A Reminder]
Sweet and lo-fi. Plays Dublin on the 30th with Women.
  • Sunship ft. Warrior Queen – Quits (Kalbata Remix) [Curb Crawlers]
Warrior Queen teams up with Sunship and gets remixed by Kalbata on a Soul Jazz release.
  • Banjo or Freakout – Archangel (Burial cover) [Gorilla vs Bear]
No banjos for me please I’ll go straight for the freakout thanks.

I’ve started this feature because I listen to so much music from other blogs yet never post them here. Fittingly enough, I stole the idea from Undomondo.
