Cavan Arts Festival confirms Lisa O'Neill, Stephen Murphy, Zaska, Gypsies On The Autobahn & more for its first summer event

Better still, the vast majority of all performances are free to attend.

The roll on toward festival season here in Ireland is definitely underway.

Today, a relative newcomer – Cavan Arts Festival – has unveiled its programme for its first summer event

Taking place between May 17th and 19th, the festival will take place in Con Smith Park and in venues across Cavan town. Although a similar event took place last September, 2019 is the first year in which the festival has expanded into a full weekend summer affair.

The festival will play host to a variety of artistic disciplines, with music coming from Lisa O’Neill, Zaska, Gypsies On The Autobahn and many more. Spoken word artist Stephen Murphy and comedian Kevin McGahern will be doing sets. Dance group Lords Of Strut are also on the bill.
