Folk singer Sorcha Richardson has proved her talents on acoustic instruments (see last week’s Last Train EP) but with new project Con VOS, the New York-based Irish musician is delving more into electro dancefloor pop grooves on the first track ‘Central Park’ from the project’s forthcoming five-track Cocoon Bloom EP.
The track has a ‘Around The World’-esque Daft Punk robo-bassline, with treated handclaps and a rap by Genetics, one half of New Jersey hip-hop duo Fortunate Ones who is also on production duties and along with his partner make up the group along with Sorcha.
The video is by Matt Baron.
