Patrick O’Laoghaire, I Have A Tribe, has returned with a new track to follow up his debut EP from last year.
‘Scandinavia’ feels like a song that’s been revealed as written in a letter, a confessional late-night whisper with O’Laoghaire resolving his own mortality and existence.
The song was recorded in Villagers’ Conor O’Brien’s house and it also features the vocals and additional instrumentation of O’Brien along with Ber Quinn, who also recorded the session.
“We found a day where all three of us could sit together in Conor’s place. At some stage we began to play, and Ber hit record. When he stopped the tape we had a song.” – O’Laoghaire
