Electric Picnic-inspired Kaleidoscope arts & family festival announced for Russborough House

Ruth Cronin

There has been a lot of speculation and hype about a new festival organised by Festival Republic over the past few weeks.

The Electric Picnic organisers recently revealed that the other festival they’ve been teasing is called Kaleidoscope Family Music & Arts Festival and is set to take place on the picturesque grounds of Russborough House in Blessington, Wicklow from 28th to 30th June 2019.

Kaleidoscope is promised to be an all rounded festival for all ages with family campsite options available while still retaining the mass appeal of the Picnic. 6 stages of live music, DJs and family-friendly options are promised. 9 stages of Spoken word, workshops and inspiration, food, sport, live art, cinema, carnival and more.

No acts have been announced yet but we’re intrigued about what kind of music will suit this family-friendly vibe.

Kaleidoscope will have a loyalty ticket scheme that will reward you with special prices if you have attended Electric Picnic in the past.
