Hats off to the beatmakers, DJs, producers, rappers and musicians who make up Loud Mouth Collective who are about to release Volume 6 in their series. They’ve also started a new downtempo electronic label called Evenings & Weekends.
Coming a year after Volume 6, Volume 7 features 14 tracks from Kali, edit:erase, Mangetout, Polyglove, Jon Candi, Plastic Rhythm and more. The comp is launched on March 21st with Loud Mouth hosting a Rustie live set with sets from Mangetout (DJ set), Lui Rwego (DJ set), Costelloe (Live), Sam Kay and edit;erase too.
Have a listen to a track from it by Kubo (PolyDROID and Aidan from Glass Dancer) called ‘An Oddity’, an eighties child of a track that recalls Human League and Kraftwerk with a falsetto vocal.
