May’s Lumo Club night pays tribute to the Beastie Boys
Along with our regular downstairs Lumo Club residents Simon Roche, Gavin Elsted & myself playing a mix of classics, curveballs and club tracks for dancing, Lumo’s May edition, our twentieth, marks the 5 year passing of Adam ‘MCA’ Yauch of the Beastie Boys with an entire room dedicated to Beasties’ music and videos all night upstairs with DJ sets from Loud Mouth Collective’s CF Meister and myself. Lumo will donate a portion of this night’s sales to the Irish Cancer Society.
The Beastie Boys are my number one band and I’ve always wanted to do a night in tribute to them. We’ll be playing their hits, album deep cuts, samples, B-sides, remixes and collaborations while the band’s videos and documentaries play.

We’re in Galway this Saturday too.
