Nialler9 & Young Hearts Run Free’s From Darkness To Light among the Musictown 2017 highlights
MusicTown, the Dublin music festival by Dublin City Council and programmed by Aiken has announced its lineup for 2017 from April 7th to 17th this year.
Nialler9 and Young Hearts Run Free are teaming up to present From Darkness To Light in DLight Studios on Sunday April 9th.
The event will bring new and established Irish artists together under the shroud of secrecy and with an emphasis on a unique Dublin kind of alchemy: songs, voices, words and visuals.
From Darkness to Light will take place in D-Light Studios on 46 North Great Clarence Street, North Strand, Dublin 1 and feature short performances from an eclectic programme of Irish artists. Drawing on the theme of secrecy, From Darkness To Light will provide no details on the performers in advance. Over the course of the night, the venue will gradually be illuminated as each artist performs. Let From Darkness To Light lead you on a journey of creativity and space. All profits from the show will go towards the Simon Community. This event is BYOB.
Early bird tickets available from Eventbrite now.
Also featured in the festival, are shows from:
Dublin International Choral Festival, Weyes Blood, Kevin Rowland, Dylan Tighe’s Wabi-Sabi Soul: 3D Listening Event, Kid ink, The Fureys, Chelsea Wolfe, PWR BTTM, Ryley Walker, Craig David, Our Lady’s Choral Society perform excerpts from Messiah, Brady and Irvine: A Tribute feat.
