Local musicians in Dundalk have set up their own label called Pizza Pizza with the aim of giving independent bands the opportunity to have their music released on vinyl in addition to dealing with both online and physical distribution for their music and merchandise.

Artists such as Elephant, We, The Oceanographers and Just Mustard have will be releasing records on the label later this year.

A fundraiser will take place at the Spirit Store in Dundalk tomorrow, Friday the 26th of January to raise money to cover vinyl pressing costs. Merchandise, vintage clothing will be on sale on the night as well as free pizza. Performers on the night include Just Mustard, We, The Oceanographers, Elephant.

Tickets are €8 on the door or €20 for a Pizza Pizza Records t-shirt and sticker.
