Rachael Lavelle releases the Gothic & dreamlike ‘Perpetual Party’ as first single of 2019

Luke Sharkey

Dublin recording artist Rachael Lavelle returns with her first single of 2019 with ‘Perpetual Party’.

The track is the fruit of a three-year writing break the singer-songwriter underwent. The first of that material came out in September of last year with ‘Eat Clean‘.

Perpetual Party - Rachael Lavelle

‘Perpetual Party’ is a gothic reimagining of the contemporary classical. A mix of ambient synths and theatrical vocals. It’s a compelling mix, pushing the audience always toward total immersion.

Lavelle has been doing some gigs as of late, supporting Saint Sister during their most recent tour. Those live dates, plus this new material, have us hoping the artist will be a more regular fixture on the Irish music landscape it the months to come.
